Follow along on Canada's biggest blues tour as veteran road warriors Doc MacLean and Big Dave McLean do 100 back to back acoustic shows across Canada. From first press release through final show you can ride with the Century Blues Tour.
Information—
The Century Blues Tour. A Cool One Hundred. The lines of the horizon and the smell of barbecue. Broken strings, broken hearts, broken glass. Laughter and tears. Late nights and Cadillacs. Two of Canada’s best loved bluesmen playing vintage National Steel guitars, sharing songs and stories from Coast to Coast to Coast.

Big Dave McLean is a Juno winning, Stony Plain recording artist: http://www.stonyplainrecords.com based in Winnipeg. His new acoustic release “Got ‘em from the bottom” is the 2009 WCMA "Blues Recording of the Year," and was Juno nominated "Blues Album of the Year." Big Dave was Maple Blues Nominated "Acoustic Artist of the Year" for the second year in a row, and this time was also nominated for "Entertainer of the Year." Last year he won the "Lifetime Achievement Award." It's gonna be a Big year for Big Dave as the album and regional nominations keep rolling in. See why he's being called the next "Prime Minister of the Blues."
Doc MacLean was recognized as "Acoustic Blues Master" at last year's Black American Music Awards. He's got a bunch of new songs you won't want to miss. "An audio version of the movie, Sin City," said Blues Revue. "The Master of Darkness." His coast to coast fanbase will make the Century Tour a great success and a wild adventure. Doc now hangs his hats in Toronto.
